Whiskey Dram Sunday: Peat Me In St Louis at Vom Fass St. Louis – MAPLEWOOD, MO

One of the most divisive topics in all of whiskey can be summed up by one word: peat! And if you can’t get enough of that smoky flavor, if you’re an honest to goodness Peat-head we hope you’ll join us for our September edition of our Whiskey Dram Sunday series as we drink deeply of those smoky, earthy, meaty, and even medicinal flavors!

Now is peaty whisky everyone’s cup of tea? No… but they’re missing out! Not only does this make scotch whisky so recognizable but it can be found in whisky from around the world as well. We’ve selected a few of our favorites and are now bringing them to you for a little something we’re calling Peat Me in St Louis!

At this casual, laid back event guests will begin with a guided tasting flight of three different peated whiskies from around the world. We’ll talk about what peat is, how it comes to be, how it is used in the whisky-making produce, and how delicious it is! Come for the whisky, but you might even learn a little something. Once that part of the event wraps up, guests are invited to select their favorite or just about anything from our wall of whiskies, spirits, and liqueurs to enjoy a full pour to sip. Choose your favorite of this month’s selected offerings or change it up with a bourbon, Irish whiskey, tequila, rum, brandy, and more! Then relax as we sit back to sip and relax. You have to take that cigar outside, though.

Tickets for all that smoky goodness are just $20/person, far less than this much quality whisky will run you in most bars. Found some bottles you want to take home to enjoy further? Enjoy a 10% discount on ANY of whisk(e)y you take home at time of the event. Note: If you’d like to be seated with another group who has signed up separately, we’d be grateful if you inform us a day or two prior to the event. This really helps us out when it comes to planning the seating arraignment.

Refund Policy: If notified 72 hours or more before the event we are happy to provide guests with a full refund of your ticket price (Eventbrite will not refund any fees). If you should need to cancel in less than 72 hours, we can either roll your tickets over into a different event or offer you a store credit for the ticket price (which will not include Eventbrite fees).
