There are moments in life that remind us we don’t always need to find the right words. Sometimes we simply need the right song, the right room, and the right people.

Double Wave was created for those moments.

This is more than a dance event. It’s an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life and into a carefully held three-hour experience where movement becomes meditation, community becomes medicine, and joy becomes something you can feel in every cell of your body.

We’re deeply grateful to open the doors to the full expression of Soul Studios for this special evening. Every room has been intentionally woven into the experience so you’re free to move, rest, explore, or simply be exactly where your body asks you to be.

Unlike our weekly gatherings, Double Wave is a rare extended container. Three uninterrupted hours create something entirely different. As the evening unfolds, conversations quiet, self-consciousness fades, and the dance begins to move you instead of the other way around. It’s an experience that simply can’t be rushed.

Wave One | 7:00 PM

Ecstatic Dance Journey with DJ Kat

The evening begins with an immersive ecstatic dance experience guided by DJ Kat and inspired by Gabrielle Roth’s Five Rhythms philosophy—a musical journey that invites you to release expectations, reconnect with your body, and discover the wisdom that movement has been waiting to reveal.

No choreography.
No experience required.
No judgment.

Just your body responding honestly to music.

Whether you spend the entire set dancing with abandon, gently swaying in the corner, stretching on a mat, or simply observing, every way of participating is welcome.

Intermission

Between waves, we’ll gather together over complimentary Flobucha kombucha—a handcrafted, zero-added-sugar refreshment naturally infused with B vitamins to gently replenish and uplift.

It’s an opportunity to breathe, connect with community, explore the studios, and prepare for what’s next.

Wave Two | 8:30 PM

House Music Meets the Classics

As the energy rises again, DJ Kat shifts into a high-energy house set infused with unforgettable dance anthems from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and 2010s.

The songs you know.
The beats that move you.
The kind of dance floor where strangers become familiar faces and everyone contributes to the atmosphere.

This second wave is about celebration—losing track of time, remembering what joy feels like, and allowing yourself to fully arrive in the present moment.

A Space Designed to Move With You

For the first time, the entire Soul Studios space will become part of the experience.

Throughout the evening you’ll have access to four unique environments, each supporting a different expression of your journey:

• The Main Dance Studio featuring DJ Kat’s immersive dance floor and altar space.
• A Second Movement Studio with mats and a playful, circus-inspired atmosphere for free exploration and embodied movement.
• A Stretch & Recovery Studio complete with foam rollers, Pilates equipment, yoga mats, benches, and ballet barres for gentle movement and self-regulation.
• An Intimate Quiet Lounge where you can rest on the couch, reflect, breathe, or simply recharge before returning to the music.

There is no expectation to stay in one place.

Move between rooms.
Dance until you’re sweating.
Stretch.
