We’re Back!

Café An is returning this summer in Chinatown, bringing people together to eat and create.

We will be serving some well loved favorites as well as some new things! Featuring sourdough by Jenn, and sweets by Salim. Food may contain allergens.

Café An & Friends Stationery Fair

There will be a variety of unique stationery from over 20 local artists to buy alongside the garden café offerings. For the journal writers, sketchbook artists and avid sticker collectors! A small selection of curated stationery can be selected from our “menu”! Please show our artists some love!

Drop in Journaling Workshop

Come to our free journaling workshop to make new friends! From 1-1:30pm bring your journal and sit with someone new! We will have journaling prompts available and a free exclusive Café An sticker gift for those who participate!

Drop in Sticker Trading Meetup

We know that if you’re into stationery, you have a big sticker collection. At 3pm we are encouraging folks to come and trade stickers and get to know other sticker lovers!

Writing Garden

Bring your journal and grab a free writing prompt to connect with new folks! Write a letter, a postcard, a journal entry, a zine or anything at all! Local mailing stamps will be available for purchase. Space is highly limited, so be mindful of your time and others around you.

A message from the organizer:

Thank you for your interest in attending our café! I started doing this home café in 2025 and I’m so glad it has grown to include a great group of people. Some important things to note:

• this is not a big café/arts market: when I say local we are LOCAL, I run the café out of my backyard and it will always be first come, first served. We are open until 6pm or until sold out. This event is about making community, meeting your neighbors and enjoying a different side of Chinatown.
• “purchasing” a free ticket on this page simply lets us know how many people to expect, we won’t be checking ‘tickets’.
• no bathroom access
• payment is by cash or E-transfer only, (forgive us again, we are small)
