About:

I am Ms Sassy The Blues Woman. Born and raised in Chicago on the South Side in the Robert Taylor home Project. My Mom and Dad raised 10 children me being child number 7 in the projects. I’m a mother of 4 +1 grandmother of 5+4. Singing The Blues is my passion performing is my joy. My husband who is also my drummer has been by my side has right there with me on this Blues journey. I have shared the stage with Mud Morganfield (son of Muddy Waters), Freddie Dixon (son of Willie Dixon), John Primer and many more of the Legends in the Blues. Known for my Koko Taylor style Growls and my Blues belting. I am captivating to more and more fans. I am an original and I am here.
