Five Time Grammy winning songwriter / producer Tom Hambridge comes to the Storefront Storytellers series to sing and talk about his career.

Now you can get Up Close with five time GRAMMY-winning songwriter, producer, vocalist, and longtime Buddy Guy drummer, Tom Hambridge. on Tuesday June 30 at 7:00 pm for an in-store appearance at the Wex Rex Gallery, 312 Main St. Hudson MA.

This is a unique up close event built around the songs, stories, and career that helped shape modern blues, roots rock, and rock and roll. Tom has written and produced songs recorded by artists including Eric Clapton, B.B. King, ZZ Top, Mick Jagger, George Thorogood, James Taylor, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Bonamassa, Keb’ Mo’, Buddy Guy, Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, and countless others.

The show brings those songs to the stage with stories from decades on the road and in the studio making award winning albums. It’s a rare chance to experience the music behind some of the biggest songs in modern blues, rock and country from the man who helped create them.

Tom has produced 15 Grammy nominated albums, won 5 Grammy’s, won countless Handy and Blues Awards, ASCAP Country Music Awards and Boston Music Awards. He is a recipient of the prestigious KBA Award in Memphis (Keeping the Blues Alive) and has been inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame.

As an artist Tom has released 9 solo albums including his latest “Down The Hatch” in 2025 which spent 14 weeks at Number 1 on the Roots Music Report- Blues Rock Album Charts and has spent 6 months in the Top Ten on The Living Blues Album Charts. “Down The Hatch” is also nominated for Blues Rock Album Of The Year at the 2026 Blues Music Awards.

Tom also toured for years as musical director/drummer for: Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley and Roy Buchanan.
