Third Ave Jazz at Sankofa Haus – Bronx, NY

On Tuesday, June 30th, Third Ave Jazz featuring AV The Force transforms Sankofa Haus into an intimate celebration of live music, visual art, and Bronx community. The evening blends soulful jazz, live painting, and immersive energy, creating a cultural experience that feels both elevated and deeply rooted.

Leading the night is Adriel Vincent-Brown, a Trinidadian-born drummer, composer, and bandleader based in New York City. His sound carries the spirit of the Caribbean, the discipline of jazz, and the pulse of gospel, R&B, and hip-hop. Inspired early by watching his father play drums in church, Adriel began performing professionally as a child through church and steel pan bands before later studying jazz and contemporary music at The New School. Today, through AV The Force, he brings together rhythm, improvisation, and cultural memory to create music that honors tradition while pushing the sound forward.

More than a concert, Third Ave Jazz becomes a space for connection, creativity, and cultural appreciation — continuing Sankofa Haus’ mission of bringing people together through meaningful artistic experiences.
