This time, we welcome Philadelphia-based DJ, producer, and founder of Biome, Taylor Shockley, for a carefully curated all-vinyl set featuring hand-selected records from his collection.

Opening the night is our resident Modpsy, bringing his signature, trippy and psychedelic, sound back to the dancefloor for a proper warm-up.

Taylor Shockley is a Philadelphia-based DJ/producer/label operator from Florida with 15 years of experience performing and working behind the scenes at events along the east coast. His hypnotic style pulls inspiration from nature, futurism, technology, and the human psyche. Taylor is a resident for the collective Vyōō in Boston, as well as his own event series and label, Biome. In the past, he has played on bills with the likes of Jane Fitz, Carlos Souffront, S.O.N.S, Helena Hauff, DJ Koolt, Spekki Webu, Dan Curtin, Tin Man, Carl H, Evan Baggs, Vera, DJ Masda, Nicolas Lutz, tINI, Christian AB, Quest, + more.

Modpsy blends deep hypnotic grooves, cerebral textures, intricate sound design, and immersive psychedelic soundscapes into driving, dancefloor-focused journeys. Venezuelan born, Florida raised and now based in the mountains of Colorado. Modpsy is the evolution of Dre’s 15+ years involved in the music industry as a DJ, Producer, and Consumer. Inspired by all facets of electronic music and its history with a subtle nod to nature and psychedelia. Growing up, he explored everything from punk, ska, and dub reggae to house, techno, trance, and experimental electronic music, influences that continue to shape his dynamic approach to production and DJing today. Since the age of 17, he has been playing clubs, afterhours, and independently hosting events, steadily refining his sound. Now creating from his Colorado studio, Dre combines analog synthesis, eurorack modular systems, field textures, and modern digital production techniques to craft immersive productions designed for both introspective listening and late-night dancefloors.
