Dracula is back, this time at The Rat! Join us for another night of laughter, romance, and things that refuse to stay dead.
Experience Pete McElligott’s hilarious new play, Dracula. This fast-paced theatrical retelling reimagines Bram Stoker’s gothic classic with eight actors, lightning-fast role switching, and a playful style reminiscent of The 39 Steps and Monty Python.
Presented by a team of emerging theater artists, this staged reading features a cast of guest performers bringing the familiar events of Bram Stoker’s classic to life in a fresh (and occasionally ridiculous) way.
Audiences can expect a night filled with vampires, forbidden love, multiple suitors, sausages, a thunder sheet, and… possibly even a cowboy.
Proceeds from the evening will support the continued development of Dracula as the team works toward a full production planned for Fall 2027.
