Sunroom is a Chicago-based vocal trio singing both original music and self-arranged covers rooted in folk and soul harmony singing. Members Adina, Kasia, and Katie met over a decade ago singing in Uniting Voices Chicago and recently reconnected over a shared love of music as a vehicle for connection, healing, and joy. Motivated by a desire to expand the range of music heard in mainstream venues, Sunrooms repertoire features tonal traditions and languages from around the world. Singing mostly a cappella, Sunroom centers voice as instrument, inviting audiences into their intimate exploration of group music-making.
