Get Ready for Galaxy Glow with Girl Scouts!! at Central Branch – Howard County Library System – Columbia, MD

Blast off into a world of creativity, discovery, and glowing fun! Join us for an out-of-this-world experience designed for girls entering grades K–3, and the adults who support them.

At Get Ready for Galaxy Glow with Girl Scouts, participants will explore the magic of the stars through hands-on, STEM-inspired activities that spark curiosity and imagination. From shimmering constellations to glowing galaxies, girls will learn, create, and shine as they discover how science and art come together in amazing ways.

Each participant will design and create their own glowing keepsake—choosing between a galaxy-in-a-jar or a beautifully lit luminary/lantern—to take home and enjoy long after the event ends.

Perfect for girls and their caregivers, this event invites participants of all kinds to connect, get creative, and explore the wonders of the universe in a fun, supportive Girl Scout environment.
