Do you yearn for a book club but don’t know where to start? Want to read something this summer that won’t rot your brain but will give you a much-needed escape from all of *waves hands wildly around* this?

Then YOU should get a ticket to Not Your Kids’ Summer Reading Pool Party, where you’ll find your book of the summer and the people to read it with.

Here’s How It Works:

Your ticket gets your pass to Starlight Motor Inn’s fabulous pool, where you can set up poolside as early as 1 p.m., grab a drink from the bar, and soak up the sun. At 2 p.m., Itinerant Literate Books will tell you about eight incredible and wildly different books we’ve selected for our self-led Summer Reading Series, copies of which will be available for purchase.

Pick out a book (or two), meet your new friends who made the same picks, and voilà! You have a book club. Spend the afternoon lounging, reading, chatting, and making new bookish friends.

At the end of the summer we’ll have another closing pool party to gather together again, discuss the books, and lounge by the pool for one last summer hurrah.
