This Fourth of July, skip the ordinary and spend the holiday somewhere that actually means something.

What to Expect

Norwood Vineyard is a Black-owned, family-operated working vineyard nestled in Jonesboro, Georgia, just 25 minutes south of Atlanta. Our grandfather planted muscadine vines on this soil generations ago, served this country in the United States Army, and built something that has outlasted every challenge thrown at it.

On July 4th we are opening our gates to celebrate not just a holiday but the people of color and various nationalities who helped build this country and have always deserved their flowers for it. Everyone is welcome here (as long as you’re 21+)!

What To Expect

• Wine Flights: Your $40 ticket includes a 3-pour wine flight featuring handcrafted muscadine wines made by local winemakers. Choose your three selections from our curated menu of small batch Southern wines. Additional glasses and bottles will be available for purchase while supplies last.
• Blues Music: We will be enjoying blues music throughout the entire event, the soundtrack of resilience, soul, and joy that Black Americans gave to the world.
• Southern BBQ: A local food truck will be set up and serving delicious bbq all afternoon. Food is available for purchase directly through the vendor.
• The Vineyard: Spend your afternoon on 75 years of living family history. Walk the muscadine rows, find your spot under our garden tent pavilion or the open sky, and settle into a holiday that feels different from anything else happening in Atlanta this Fourth of July.

Dress Code Encouraged but optional: Brown, White & Blue
Our spin on the holiday. Show up in your brown, white, and blue as a celebration of everything people of color have always contributed to this country. It is festive, intentional, and very much the Norwood way.

Important Information

Advanced Tickets Highly Recommended This is a Fourth of July holiday event and space is limited. We strongly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. Walk in availability is not guaranteed.

Age Requirement This event is strictly 21 and older. Valid photo ID is required upon entry. We reserve the right to ID any guest. No minors permitted.

Rain or Shine This event will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather all guests will be accommodated under our fully weatherproof garden tent pavilion. Your experience will not be affected by the weather.

Outside Food & Beverages Outside food and beverages are not permitted on site. A food truck and full wine selection are available for purchase throughout the afternoon.

Refund Policy
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Within 7 days tickets are non-refundable but transferable to another guest.

Cancellation by the Vineyard
In the rare event that Norwood Vineyard must cancel this event all guests will be offered a full refund.

Norwood Vineyard is a Black-owned family operated working vineyard and outdoor event destination rooted in 75 years of family history in Jonesboro, Georgia. We are not a commercial winery. We are a family with land, a story, and a deep commitment to sharing both with our community. Each season we partner with and highlight small batch Southern winemakers — Black winemakers, female winemakers, and muscadine winemakers — whose craft deserves to be celebrated and whose wines deserve to be poured.
