Casino Friday – Monthly Rueda de Casino! at Nomadic Vintage Rugs – Portland, OR

Join our *Rueda de Casino* dance class, where Cuban salsa meets the vibrant energy of a group dance circle! In this joyful class, partners switch seamlessly through a series of fun, synchronized moves, all called out by a leader (cantante). Get ready to laugh, connect, and move to infectious rhythms as you become part of the rueda (wheel), where every step brings excitement and unity!

Class starts with a ‘suelta’ warm-up: without a partner, we get loose and comfortable with foundational steps. Then, we will be in the circle, rotating partners, for the rest of class.

Free parking in the ‘private’ lot on the south side of the shop. Or, find street parking.

Level 1

Level 1 is entry level. Great for people with zero, or very little, rueda de casino experience. You learn the foundations to start experiencing the joy of rueda right away. No structured dance experience necessary.
