We are honored to present Christer and Kristina Samuelsson, Helen and Stig Eriksson, and Isabell Svärdmalm, whose artistry and deep connection to tradition have inspired generations of musicians and dancers.
✨ From Norway, Magnhild Moen Helland, Åste Sulheim Viken, and Iselin Aukrust are among the rising tradition bearers of Norwegian folk music. They will share the rich musical heritage of their homeland with passion, depth, and captivating beauty.
✨ From Luleå, Norrbotten, in northern Sweden, Arvid Furmark will delight audiences with the enchanting sounds of the nyckelharpa, Sweden’s national folk instrument, bringing centuries-old melodies vividly to life.
Let the rhythms of polskas, springars, and other time-honored dance tunes transport you through the mountains, forests, and valleys of the Nordic North. Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the living traditions of Scandinavia.
This special evening supports Nordic Fiddles and Feet, a beloved camp (currently held on the shores of Lake Winnepesaukee) that for over 25 years has brought world-class faculty from Sweden and Norway to teach traditional music and dance to participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner or seasoned musician or dancer, this camp is a joyful celebration of Scandinavian culture and community.
