Wine sensory workshop at Pierre & Bertrand Couly - Chinon - Centre-Val de Loire, France
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

How to taste? How to hold a glass? What is an aroma? Do we use our 5 senses when tasting? Where and under what conditions do we drink wine? To try to answer these questions, we propose a workshop on the senses. We will rediscover our 5 senses and try to master them through a few workshops in 2 hours. This tasting is not only for experts but for all wine lovers in search of pleasure. This workshop is followed by a 45-minute tasting session with our local products. No complicated words, no knowledge required, just a new and surprising experience, to approach all the notions of good tasting and of taste!

Domaine Pierre & Bertrand Couly operates around twenty hectares in the Chinon appellation . The family comes from a long line of winegrowers dating back to the 15th century through the maternal branch of Bertrand (Farou). Pierre & Bertrand Couly has chosen to turn to sustainable viticulture. The estate has received the HVE label (High Environmental Value) for its cultural choices, thus allowing the preservation of biodiversity. Domaine Pierre & Bertrand Couly endeavors to present to you the variety of the terroirs of the appellation through the different vintages it produces each year.
