White Boat Tour Tigullio Portofino – Liguria, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

The complete tour in summer provides different tour durations and a different route, depending on the starting points selected.
The tour in autumn and winter will have shorter route to limit the duration because of the colder temperatures.
In every season the tours will be available only with good weather and sea conditions.
Here below you have a short description of the routes, depending on the place of departure and on the period:

Summer:

The tour departing from Lavagna and Chiavari (approximately 5/6 hours) includes traveling along the coast from Lavagna-Chiavari to Portofino and beyond. After the crossing from Chiavari to Rapallo, during which you can admire the characteristic villages perched halfway up the hill, navigation becomes slower towards the bay of S. Michele di Pagana up to the wide panorama of Santa Margherita and then small beaches and cliffs up to Portofino.
Beyond the lighthouse that borders the Gulf we will discover the marine park up to San Fruttuoso.

The tour departing from Rapallo(about 4 hours) includes the following route:

1. After a tour inside the gulf of Rapallo in which we will take a look from the sea at the town with its promenade adorned with palm trees and Belle Epoque buildings, we will continue towards San Michele di Pagana, a quiet spot for swimming.
– Rapallo, Ligurian Riviera, Liguria, passage without stopping.

2. We will enter the gulf of Santa Margherita to observe the town from the sea with its beautiful colorful houses and magnificent hotels.
-Santa Margherita Ligure, Santa Margherita Ligure, Ligurian Riviera, Liguria, passage without stopping.

3. Once in Portofino we will enter the bay to see the village from the sea. Upon request it will be possible to go ashore to take a tour of the village.

4. The tour includes circumnavigating the promontory with its characteristic lighthouse, and continuing in the protected marine area up to the bay of San Fruttuoso.

5. We will enter the bay of San Fruttuoso to see the Abbey from the sea. Upon request, it will be possible to stop for a tour of the beach and around the Abbey.

-Departing from Santa Margherita Ligure:

2. Portofino, stop max 20 minutes.
3. Portofino Lighthouse, passage without stopping.
4. San Fruttuoso Bay, stop max 20 minutes
5. Rapallo, passage without stopping.
6. Returning in Santa Margherita
