EXPERIENCE:

Dive into the world of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the interactive, multimedia Mythos Mozart exhibit. Located in the building where Mozart spent the last year of his life, this exhibit takes you through the music and life of this prolific Classical musician.

Visit the house where Mozart died in 1791, where he also composed “The Magic Flute” and “The Requiem.” Start your journey in the REQUIEM – MOZART’S DEATH room, filled with 1,500 candles, designed by the British-German lighting designer Moritz Waldemeyer.

From there, enter the VIENNA 1791 – MOZART’S CITY room and stroll through the busy streets of Vienna, climb over roofs in a balloon, find yourself in front of the house where Mozart died, and take in 360° panoramic historical views.

Interact with instruments from all over the world in the Little Night Music room and take advantage of the Sky & Roofgarden for views over the First District, Karlskirche, the ferris wheel, and St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
