EXPERIENCE

We stroll through the chic streets of Abbot Kinney, marveling at the residences of Venice Beach, and extend the walk along the Venice Beach boardwalk, ending on a high note in Santa Monica.

Once considered less desirable a few years ago, Abbot Kinney has earned the nickname ‘the coolest street in America.’ Lined with stylish boutiques and concept stores, Google and Snapchat have set up their offices nearby, driving up the price per square meter.

Abbot Kinney, the founder of Venice Beach in 1905, fell in love with Venice and aimed to bring the romance of the Italian city to California, complete with canals for added authenticity. The architecture of the houses is quite different from what you might see in the Italian peninsula, but equally diverse: from Californian bungalows to contemporary glass houses and extravagant mini-castles.

There’s never a dull moment on Venice Beach, with bodybuilders training at Muscle Beach, surfers catching waves, and skaters spending hours at California’s most famous skatepark. The atmosphere is guaranteed!

A coastal city renowned for decades due to its perfect location and ideal climate, Santa Monica continues to captivate both tourists and locals. With its white sandy beaches and iconic amusement park, the charming shopping streets exude the allure of a seaside resort.
