Discover the most important part of Venice by visiting the Doge’s Palace, residence of the Governor of the Republic of Venice. Venice and its history, you have to visit the Doge’s Palace, which is a masterpiece of the Gothic period with architectural elements contributed in the 14th and 15th centuries, extending the Palace towards the Basilica of San Marco.

Your tour with an official guide includes the Palace, the Golden Staircase, the Giant’s Staircase, and the Sala of the Greater Council with the works of TintoreMo, Veronesi, and Titian. You will also know the interior of the Bridge of the Sighs named after the cries of prisoners and the ancient prison cells where the liberator Giacomo Casanova was imprisoned in 1755.

After the visit to the Doge’s Palace, you will visit San Marco Square, discovering the history of its monuments that surround the majestic square among them where is the Bell Tower, the Clock Tower, and the Basilica of San Marco (from outdoors) whose construction dates back to the 9th century of the Byzantine era.

Your visit will end with a visit to an old Murano factory where you will be able to attend a demonstration and realization of a work in Murano glass created by a Venetian master and where this tradition is still transmitted from father to son or from family to family.
