The cenotes of the yucatan are definately worth the stop. These refreshing fresh water pools are super. We have many to pick from along the way. We will enjoy a Cenote stop and swim either heading out the the ruins of Coba, or on the return back after lunch at Valladolid. We select the cenote based on the group makeup, preferences and style.
In Valladolid, you will find one of the finest examples of colonial architecture in the Yucatan Peninsula .This is where we usually have lunch and enjoy the sights on our way through to one of the archaeological sites. We will stop here to shop as well. You can purchase wonderful honey products, such as honey liqueur called Xtabentun.
