We invite you to explore the “City of the Magnificent Entrance” on a journey that will take you through some of the most beautiful and historic places in Tucumán. From the beginning of your tour in the city of San Miguel de Tucumán, you will experience the rich culture and impressive nature of the region.

We begin our trip by ascending Route 307, a road that enters the gorge of the Los Sosa River, part of the natural reserve of the same name. As we continue, you will be able to enjoy the panoramic views and vibrant colors of the valleys, where the green and brown of the land contrasts with the blue sky.

Our first stop is the “El Indio” monument, an emblematic point that marks the entrance to the Tafí Valley. Here, you will be able to appreciate the magnificent La Angostura dam and its reflection under the sun. We will continue to El Mollar, a picturesque town with dirt streets that tell centuries of history. From here, you’ll get a stunning view of the dam.

Then, we will head to the charming town of Tafí del Valle, located in the middle of this beautiful valley. You will have free time to enjoy an optional lunch and explore the area. After joining the RN 40, we will arrive at the Sacred City of Quilmes, where you can explore the reconstructions of the defensive zone and the fortress at the top of the hill. These ruins are a fascinating testimony of the Quilmes civilization that inhabited this region in the past.

Finally, we will return to Tucumán, culminating a day full of history, culture and natural beauty. Throughout the tour, we will make strategic stops to walk, take photos and immerse ourselves in the magic of these places.
