Trujillo: Discover the Moche and Chimu culture+Marinera Show – Ancash, Peru

EXPERIENCE

The adventure begins around 10:00 am, meeting at the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo. From there, we will head southeast to explore the Moche countryside. Our first stop will be at the Huacas de la Luna, where we will immerse ourselves in the fascinating details of the Moche culture, marveling at its polychrome murals and frieze reliefs, a captivating experience. Afterwards, we will head to Huaca Chica in Moche Pueblo, where you will have free time to enjoy a meal at one of the nearby restaurants. After recharging your batteries, we will witness an equestrian show and the emblematic Peruvian seafaring dance. Next, we will explore Chan Chan, the amazing adobe citadel, the largest in the Americas and dedicated to the god of the sea. After discovering this archaeological complex, we will head to the coast to enjoy a free hour at Huanchaco beach, where you can watch the sunset or take a stroll along the tourist pier. We will conclude our excursion around 6:00 p.m., returning to Trujillo with unforgettable memories.
