EXPERIENCE:

Let yourself be enchanted by the Instrument Gallery and Schiaparelli’s dome at INAF – Brera Astronomical Observatory, in the middle of the beautiful Brera district. Come inside the historical Brera Palace and discover a hidden place where astronomers, especially Giovanni Schiaparelli, have been studying the stars and planets for centuries.

What does the astronomer do? The astronomer observs, discovers, measures, represents… and interprets. The same actions, over time, with different instruments. As you walk through the gallery, the panals and instruments will guide you in exploring these topics.

Also explore Schiaparelli’s dome where the famous astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli saw for the first time the surface of the red planet Mars!
