EXPERIENCE

The visit begins with the Northern Zone, with its residential neighbourhoods of Olivos, Martinez and San Isidro, where the magnificent Neo-Gothic Cathedral, a National Historic Monument from the beginning of the 20th century, stands out. Its façade was restored in stone and brick with the original ornaments moulded. It has three naves with a circular apse. The stone and brick walls have openings with stained glass windows made in France.

In Tigre, take a tour of the fifth largest Delta in the world. During the boat trip you can see the Casa Sarmiento Museum and learn about island life.

On the way back, we will pass by the Quinta Residencial del Presidente.

San Isidro
San Isidro is a city in the Greater Buenos Aires area. It is located 27.9 km from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It is the most prosperous neighborhood in the province and is considered one of the wealthiest communities in the province. The city was initially populated by aristocratic families who fled the city to escape the yellow fever epidemic. Among its main attractions we can see its Gothic Cathedral.

Olivos
Olivos is a neighbourhood in the Vicente López district, Province of Buenos Aires. It is bordered to the south by the Vicente López and Florida neighbourhoods; to the east by the Río de la Plata; to the north by La Lucila and Martínez, and to the west by Munro. This neighbourhood is home to the Quinta Presidencial de Olivos (President’s Residence).

Tigre
Tigre is an Argentine city north of the city of Buenos Aires. It is a gateway to the rivers and wetlands of the vast Paraná Delta. The city’s former fruit port, Puerto de Frutos, is now a busy artisan market. Nearby, the Mate Museum traces the history of Argentina’s traditional drink and has a mate bar. Rowing clubs and restaurants line Paseo Victorica. During our stop in the city we include 40’of navigation with audio guide, where we will learn how the residents of the islands live and interact, the floating services, such as the taxi and the supermarket boat, the house museum of the former president of the Nation Sarmiento, among other attractions of the region.
