Meet at a pre-designated location in Tirana for departure. Travel to Bovilla Lake by airconditioned vehicle or minibus. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes.
Arrival at Bovilla Lake a picturesque reservoir surrounded by lush greenery and rugged landscapes. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the lake s edge, taking in the tranquil surroundings and scenic views.The area is perfect for photography, with beautiful reflections on the lake and diverse flora and fauna. Begin Hike to Gamti Mountain Start the hike from the Bovilla Lake area. The trail ascends through a mix of forested paths and rocky terrain.
Difficulty: Moderate to challenging; suitable for those with a good level of fitness.
Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours of hiking to reach the summit. Summit of Gamti Mountain, Reach the summit of Gamti Mountain, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including the lake below and the distant Albanian Alps.
Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a packed lunch at the summit while soaking in the views.
Take time to relax and appreciate the natural beauty. Descend from Gamti Mountain. Begin the descent back to the starting point. The return hike typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Return to Bovilla Lake
Time: 4:00 PM. Arrive back at the Bovilla Lake area. Take a short break to rest and refresh. Departure for Tirana Time: 5:00 PM. Travel back to Tirana. Arrive in the city around 6:00 PM, depending on traffic and any stops along the way.
