Day 1: Introduction and Caiman Search
We will depart from the pick-up point at 9:30 a.m. We will travel by boat down the Madre de Dios River to our lodge, where we will have lunch. Afterwards, we will explore the jungle on a hike to see medicinal plants and ancient trees, and if we are lucky, we will spot monkeys, birds and insects. In the afternoon, we will look for caimans in their natural habitat. Dinner at 19:30 and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Sandoval Lake – Fishing and Night Walk
After an early breakfast, we will visit the Sandoval Lake, known for its rich biodiversity. We will be able to observe otters, turtles and monkeys. After lunch, we will go sport fishing, catching piranhas and other fish. Later, we will take a night walk to see grasshoppers, reptiles and listen to the sounds of the jungle. Dinner and optional campfire on the way back.

Day 3: Tapir Trail – Monkey Island
After an early breakfast, we will explore the mammal clay lick to observe tapirs and rodents. We will return for lunch and then sail to Monkey Island to interact with the primates. Dinner in the evening and, if we wish, we will participate in a campfire to share jungle stories. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Kayaking and Return to the City
We will start with an early breakfast and then go on a kayaking excursion on the Madre de Dios River, guided by an instructor. On the banks, we will be able to see butterflies, turtles and other animals. We will return for lunch, prepare our belongings and depart back to the city.
