Syracuse archaeological park and Ortigia Highlights Private – Sicily, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

Guided tour of the Archaeological Park which includes the main attractions: the Greek theater, the quarries (latomie) the most famous is the Ear of Dionysius, the Roman amphitheatre. You will travel through the history of this amazing city known worldwide. After visiting the park, we will go to Ortigia, near the Temple of Apollo (you will move with your means of transport, distance about 2 km) or by taxi (about 10 €). We will meet at the temple of Apollo and from here we will start our walk tour in the heart of Ortigia. We will see the fabulous fountain of Diana, the majestic cathedral that was once a temple. Our visit stops near the Orfeo e Aretusa fountain where we will end the visit by telling you the myth of these two lovers.
