EXPERIENCE:

Live an unforgettable experience with the stunning beauty of Cusco’s South Valley on this magical half-day tour that begins around 8:30 am. We will pick you up from your selected hotel in Cusco and embark on a trip that will take you to the southeast of Cusco. on the Cusco-Puno route.
After being picked up from your hotel between 8:40 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. m., We will go to the Tipón Archaeological Complex to begin your Inca adventure. The complex is located 24 kilometers southeast of Cusco and is one of the least visited sites in the Cusco area.
Tipón’s most notable feature is its irrigation system which has been in use for centuries and continues to provide water for agriculture in the surrounding towns. Next, we will go to Pikillacta, an ancient urban center built by the pre-Inca Wari culture. This historic site has more than one thousand buildings, including colcas, plazas, houses, temples, and streets, some of which are up to four stories high, known as Rumicolca, and was a travel checkpoint for the Incas.
After this complex, you will advance towards Andahuaylillas. Here you will discover the “Sistine Chapel of Peru”, a church that houses golden altars, paintings and ceilings of many colors. The chapel is simple and unassuming on the outside, but inside you’ll find masterpiece after masterpiece as you explore the fascinating walls. On the way back to Cusco you will also pass through Saylla, where you can enjoy the lunch like delicious and famous pork cracklings. The tour will end when our transportation drop you off one block from the main square of Cusco.
