EXPERIENCE

Join a local nature and wine guide on a small-group trip. Enjoy a beautiful National Park hike with big views of Mt. Rainier, a picnic lunch outside, and wine tastings at beloved Northwestern wineries in the Yakima Valley. Take a 1.5 hour drive to Mt. Rainier for a 3.5-mile nature walk/hike, appropriate for most abilities. On a clear day the beautiful, towering monolith can be seen from just about anywhere. At the height of summer, travelers and locals alike make pilgrimages to her flower-flanked trails for the relaxation, fresh air, and peace that only comes with a walk in a quiet, wild place. Along the way, your guide may even show you which plants are safe to nibble on.

After a gourmet picnic lunch in the outdoors, you will head towards Yakima Valley: known for sunshine, and Italian, German, and Portuguese grapes. You’ll visit two beloved, locally-owned vineyards in the Naches Heights, such as Wilridge, Mill Lane, Fontaine, or Southward vineyards and wineries. After all of that, you’ll be on your way back to Seattle by dinner time. Join this adventure in the Pacific Northwest, for a day tour to remember.
