Scuba Diving in Aci Castello – Sicily, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

You will meet your certified DiveSSI instructor and together you will have a short briefing: you will try out the equipment, the exercises to be repeated underwater will be explained to you, and also the behavioral rules to be adopted during the dive.

You will explore the seabed of the Gulf of Catania, characterized by volcanic walls and the remains of 13th-century lava flows, which have now become the shelter for thousands of species.

You’ll descend down to 5 meters and slowly begin to have your first underwater encounters with the many varieties of fish that inhabit the sea of the Riviera dei Ciclopi.

Upon returning to the facility, if you wish, you can take a hot shower before continuing your adventures in discovering Catania.
