EXPERIENCE:

The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System lies about half a mile off the East side of the island. It is the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second longest in the world. Some of the best diving in Belize is just 5-20 minutes from the Belize Island Divers shop.

The amazing coral reef system not only protects our island, but is host to over two dozen dive sites just outside our door. Our waters are known for seeing nurse sharks, grouper, moray eels, dolphins and sea turtles. You will also see many different species of fish, coral and sponges. The sea floor of the reef are known as sloping finger canyons that are home to everything you’ll want to see when diving.

Belize Island Divers is a boutique dive shop catering to smaller dive parties, at most we will have 8 divers per boat with a PADI Dive Master dive guide and certified boat captain.

Belize Island Divers offers resort pick-up and drop-off at most resorts and if you’re diving with us for consecutive days we can clean and store your equipment and ready for your next dive.

No equipment? No problem we have a large rental pool of BCD’s, Mask, Fin’s, Snorkels, and wetsuits for a small added charge.

Tanks, weights and belts are supplied for each diver. We have canopy boats for your protection from the sun, we ask that when using sunscreen to use reef safe for the protection of our beautiful reef. We will have fruits and refreshments for your convenance.
