Experience all of what San Antonio Zoo has to offer with an any-day admission ticket. This ticket can be used any day during zoo operating hours versus standard admission tickets which are date-specific. Explore the zoo’s grounds, spanning 50,000 acres, and see some of the more than 8,500 animals that call this zoo home.

Zoo Lights will transform San Antonio Zoo into a winter wonderland from November 18 to December 31. Entry to Zoo Lights are included with your admission ticket.

Take time to see the flock of Caribbean flamingos or watch as red-ruffed and black and white lemurs jump and play at Pride Place. Say hello to hyenas and bears in The Grotto, or visit the Asian Forest, home to the Komodo dragon and cute Asian small-clawed otters.

The Cat Grotto is home to small cats like the caracal, clouded leopard, and black-footed cat. Walk through this majestic area as water flows over the rocks.

Visit the Friedrich Aquarium, home to fresh and saltwater animals, and head to the Reptile House to see a wide array of reptiles from all over the world, from snakes to turtles to lizards.

Immerse yourself in Neotropica with the feel of a remote South American fishing village. This area of San Antonio Zoo is home to jaguars, Amazon birds, monkeys, mammals, fish, and reptiles.

Check out the world-famous Timothy and Uma at Africa Live. See a Nile crocodile, a variety of fish, okapi, African wild dogs, dwarf mongoose, colobus monkeys, and a giant aviary with exotic birds.

Big Lake is a bird-lovers paradise. Marvel at the whooping crane pair, Madison and Patty, as well as other resident winged animals including pelicans, storks, ducks, and flamingos.

Big Cat Valley allows you to get face-to-face with magnificent animals- Hear the roar of lions as they let you know they are the kings of the zoo. Gaze across The Savanna from elevated viewpoints to see zebras, ostriches, sitatunga, cranes, giraffes, and white rhinos roaming peacefully.

Have your own outback adventure at Kangaroo Krossing. Get up close to kangaroos, and pose for a fun photo opportunity, where unexpected guests may pop out of a kangaroo’s pouch.

At Amphibia you can see frogs, toads, salamanders, and caecilians from Texas and around the world. See Australian wildlife from the outback and beyond, including cassowaries, tree kangaroos, mighty red kangaroos, and the Australian Aviary at Wild Australia.

Encounter birds from all parts of the world at Hixon Bird House. See birds from the deserts of the American southwest, coastal beaches, South American rain forest, the jungles of Asia, and the African bush.

And if you’re visiting with your little ones, make sure to pop past Kronkosky’s Tiny Tot Nature Spot. This area is specially designed for knee-high naturalists from birth to 5 years old. Here, young explorers can dig, climb, splash, and get dirty while uncovering and discovering nature s wonders.

Enjoy free trick-or-treating, pumpkin spice, and everything nice at San Antonio Zoo this Halloween season for ZOO BOO!

This non-scary Halloween event will be open daily from September 16 October 31 with zoolightful activations like live music, costume parties, multiple realms of Halloween fun, daily FREE trick-or-treating hour, and exciting interactions for little ghouls, goblins, and of course, your boo! ZOO BOO! is included with Standard Admission.
