EXPERIENCE:

Climb to the summit of Monte Fossa, the highest point of the Aeolian Islands at 962 metres. With a certified guide you will discover ancient volcanic craters and fairy-tale paths hidden among the many species of endemic plants present on the island.

To fully enjoy this experience you will start from the Christian Sanctuary of Madonna del Terzito, an area where the imposing temple of Demeter once stood. Here you will face the path of the spirit that goes up the ancient valley where the precious water source flowed.

The path will continue through the woods where the flow of water is still present today. After reaching one of the peaks, you will start the descent towards the ancient crater where divine mysteries and human intrigues mingle, still giving this place its magical atmosphere.

At the end of the experience you can do yoga and meditation sessions, from the inside of the crater to the area of Serro Capo, to finish this nature trail in total relaxation.
