Salem, MA: Hocus Pocus Movie Guided Walking Tour – Salem, Massachusetts

EXPERIENCE

Come celebrate Disney’s blockbuster, Hocus Pocus! Starring Better Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, Hocus Pocus has become one of the most beloved movies of the 20th century. The majority of the movie was filmed in Salem in 1993. We will take you to 5 of the locations used in the filming.

We Visit the 5 locations used in the filming of Disney’s hit movie, Hocus Pocus! Start at the high school, travel to the dance hall, to Allison’s house, the Dennison house and finally to Pioneer Village*** where Binx & Emily lived in the film!

Along the way, you will also hear about the Salem Witch Trials, the maritime history, how we became the “Witch City”, and more!

Please Note: There is a considerable amount of walking (over 3 miles) at a very fast pace, so please take that into account before booking. This walk can be very strenuous and is not recommended for those with the following: back, knee, or hip problems, respiratory or circulatory problems, cardiac problems, or recent surgeries. This tour is also not wheelchair accessible.

The tour ends in a different location than the start – please plan accordingly to get back to the downtown area. Transportation will not be provided by WCWT. Please plan accordingly.

Tours meet at the playground on the Salem Common. Look for the basketball court. Tickets must be purchased online prior to the start of the tour. Our guides do not accept ticket purchases on location.

• Approximately 3 miles of *strenuous* walking expected during tour at a fast pace.
• Our Tours run rain or shine, we do not cancel for weather. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress accordingly..
• There is uneven terrain and parts are
NOT wheelchair scooter stroller accessible. Please be prepared.
• Not for those with back, hip, neck, joint problems. Very fast tour and challenging terrain..

• We do not enter any buildings on this tour, this is an outdoor activity only.
• Tour group size may be up to 39 guests per group
• There are no public restrooms on the tour route. Please plan accordingly.
• Pioneer Village is not open on weekdays. So if you choose to book this tour on a weekday you will not gain entrance. Pioneer Village also closes during and after inclement weather due to muddy conditions.
