On this full-day tour to Venice by train, you will be picked up from your hotel in Rome and then transferred to Termini Station to catch the fast train to Venice. This elegant city is an archipelago of 117 little islands connected by bridges. A tour leader will be with you for the whole day and will help you with tips and help you to visit to the most important sights such as St. Mark’s Square (the heart of Venice) with its basilica, the Doge’s Palace decorated by Tintoretto and Veronese, the bell tower and Rialto Bridge.

Stroll through the “Calle” (streets) or as the Venetians say ‘take any Calle’ and visit the city looking upwards without any fear of getting lost because all the ‘Calle’ leads to St. Mark’s Square.

See the Grand Canal that is one of the major water traffic corridors in the city. Use a waterbus or a romanitc gondola to enjoy a view of the fascinating architecture that characterizes Venice. Leave Venice in the afternoon and be back in Rome at around 08:00 PM.
