  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

Experience an intimate experience and discover one of Rome’s best archeological areas on a private guided tour of the Trajan’s Forum, Trajan’s Market, and Column.
Begin at the Trajan’s Market, one of Italy’s most fascinating archaeological sites. Excavated between 1924 and 1936, its restoration is one of the country’s remarkable achievements in historic preservation. Built by General Marcus Ulpius Traianus, they became the stone testament of the Roman ruler.

Located along Via Dei Fori Imperiali, the complex, made of red brick and concrete, had six levels with 150 different shops and apartments. Now, the Trajan’s Market houses the Imperial Forum Museum.

Walk along Via Biberatica, the main shopping street, through one of the complex’s corridors and rooms that once housed the Tabernae shops. Take advantage of access to the high terraces and admire the underlying area of Imperial Fora, one of the most extraordinary views of the eternal city.
Listen to your guide as they explain the whole Fori area from this unique perspective.
