EXPERIENCE

Cycling from Domaine Maizerets to Wendake is a picturesque and fun experience that combines great views of the region and immerse in the native reality of today . Safe and fun as 100% of the ride is on cycle path . The route will take you
through scenic paths on the north side of Quebec City.
As you pedal along, you’ll pass through quaint suburb and historic sites, immersing yourself in the rich culture and history of the region. The journey culminates in Wendake, a vibrant Indigenous community that showcases the traditions and customs of the Huron-Wendat people. We will end the tours at the famous Barberie microbrasserie back in Quebec City for a total of 25 miles. Take spectacu;ar pictures !!

1-Meeting at the Maizerets Domaine parking lot – bike adjustments and presentation of the route on the map, historical and current context.The park has several buildings, one of which is the Château Ango des Maizerets, an 18th-century mansion built by the French,as well as a modern observation tower overlooking the St Lawrence River

2- The Cheminots Corridor northbound with panoramic views of the Quebec region and enter the northern suburbs of Charlesbourg.The Great Trail, crossing through the Québec City boroughs of Cité-Limoilou, Les Rivières and La Haute-Saint-Charles as it winds through stunning landscapes to the village of Wendake

3- Kabir Kouba Falls, “the river with a thousand twists” in the Montagnais language, standing at 28 meters.

4- The Huron-Wendat Museum, a national institution, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage of the Huron-Wendat Nation. Come and experience the history, culture and arts of the Huron-Wendat and their relationship with other First Nations

5- Return to Quebec via the Cheminots; downhill!!!
