EXPERIENCE:

The “Tree Roots” can be seen from the street. The aim of the tour is to to leave the street and enter the site on a private visit and walk on the last steps of the painter on an old path used by the peasants to go from the village to the to work in the fields. Van Gogh had the habit to walk up to the plain to paint during the last weeks before painting his last masterpiece “Tree Roots” and shooting himself in a wheat field. The tour is organized through comments arount 8 stops. Each stop is to mention and explain elements about the site as well as to answer your own questions. The special visit will be lead by a guide. We have been working with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam in order for this tour to be the most genuine and complete possible.
