Private Trek from Pentedattilo to Rocche di Santa Lena - Ionian Sea, Italy
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

You will meet your private guide at the center of Pentedattilo, an ancient village built on a hand-shaped rock and abandoned in the late ’70s because it was declared uninhabitable. You will walk through the rural and typical streets of the village, where you can visit the craft stores, the old houses, as well as crops and threshing floors for the beating of grain.

You will continue trekking until you reach the legendary Rocche di Santa Lena, from where you can admire the Sicilian coast, Mount Etna and the rural landscapes of Greek Calabria. After a break for a picnic lunch (not included in the cost), you will return to the starting point along a path that winds around the cyclopean hand.
