Private tour 3 days | City tour in Cusco + Machu Picchu – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Pick up from the airport – City Tour Cusco

The tour starts with the pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
First we start with the pick up from your respective hotel near the historical center of Cusco at 13:00 p.m. It is worth mentioning that the tour has a duration of 5 hrs approx.
Our first point to visit is the Temple of Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), then we go to the archaeological center of Sacsayhuaman (Imposing example of Inca military architecture).
Continuing with the excursion we will visit the archaeological center of Qenqo this is a ritual center built on a unique limestone rock outcrop, in this place we can go through the subway galleries and the room of the sacrifices.
Later we will visit the red fortress of PukaPukara where the reddish color and the military construction is characterized. This place has military architecture that is composed of large walls, staircases and terraces.
Finally the fortress of Tambomachay (comes from two Quechua voices “Tampu” collective housing and “mach’ay” place of rest or cavern), this archaeological site is characterized by having a main waterfall which is known as ¨the baths of the Inca¨, composed of canals and aqueducts through which water flows, so in the time of the Incas this was a ceremonial center dedicated to the worship of water.
Finally we return to the city of Cusco arriving approximately at 18:30 hrs.

Day 2- Machu Picchu Citadel
The tour to Machu Picchu one day, begins with the pick up from your hotel that is located within the historic center of Cusco at 4:00 am (recommended time), then board our mobility and go to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo.
Once located in the station we will board the tourist train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, the travel time is approximately 2 hours.
Once you arrive at the train station in Machu Picchu Pueblo our representative of Chullos Travel Peru, will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, to coordinate all the final details before the tour.
Then you will be transferred to the Consettur bus station, to board the bus to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, the tour inside the citadel of Machu Picchu, you can see the most important points for a period of time of 2 hrs 30 min approx.
Then we return to Machu Picchu Pueblo for lunch. You will have enough time to visit a large part of Machu Picchu village (small and picturesque village).
Return to Cusco city.
Then we go 30 minutes before to the train station to board our respective train to Ollantaytambo and return to the city of Cusco the approximate time of arrival is at 8:30 pm.

Day 3 – Free morning – Transfer to Cusco Airport.
Free morning to relax.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your departure to Lima.
