Your first stop, the ancient city of Pompeii, one of many UNESCO World Heritage sites in Italy that provides an extraordinary window into the daily life of ancient Romans in this ancient city. When you visit Pompeii, you will embark on a private 2-hour guided tour that delves into the remarkably well-preserved ruins and reveals the highlights of this once-thriving city. Your tour guide will share all the details about the lives and customs of Pompeii’s inhabitants, including their social hierarchy, economy, and artistic expression – making for a great tour.
Wander through the iconic tourist destinations, like the villas adorned with exquisite mosaics, exploring the Roman shops, bakeries, and wine bars, and discovering how the Romans entertained themselves in theaters, amphitheaters, and public squares.

After visiting Pompeii, reach Amalfi town, where you’ll have time to walk around this graceful place: its cluster of white buildings gleams like a pearl in the strand of towns strung along the Amalfi Coast. Visit the beautiful Cathedral, taste some limoncello and then enjoy a shared boat ride to Positano, that gives you the possibility to appreciate the enchanting landscape of the Amalfi coast from the sea. When, due to weather conditions, the shared boat ride will not be feasable, you’ll drive through the scenic Amalfi coast road to reach Positano, where you’ll spend about 1,5 hrs.
After a rewarding day in this beautiful part of Italy, we’ll make our way back to Rome arriving at 6.30pm circa.
