Private Etna Wine tour – Sicily, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

The private Etna wine tour begins aboard our 4×4 jeeps or 8 seater vans.

The guide will pick you up conveniently at your accommodation at the agreed time.

The first stage includes a stop at the Chalet where it will be possible to drink a good coffee and possibly change your shoes. Here the guide will give a short briefing on the tour program.

Once we arrive in the heart of Etna we will get to the heart of our excursion. A light trek among pines and birches will lead us to discover lunar landscapes with expanses of lava that disappear on the horizon.

Our trekking continues to reach the peaks of the Sartorius craters and enjoy suggestive views.
Equipped with torches and helmets we will discover all the beauty of a volcanic cave to understand its formation, origins and history.

Wine tasting

Once the excursion on the volcano is finished we will reach an ancient winery on the slopes of Etna, an ideal place to savor many typical Sicilian products while tasting excellent wines.

The tasting menu includes: four glasses of wine from current vintages, preserves in oil, typical Sicilian cheeses, boiled eggs, cured meats, extra virgin olive oil, couscous with seasonal vegetables (during the summer season), legume soup (during the winter season), grilled sausage with salad, cannoli alla ricorra, still water and bread.
