Hiking shoes will be available free of charge for those in need. During the adventure, you will visit the area of the October 27, 2002 eruption, explore paths through the undergrowth, and reach the lateral craters with breathtaking views. We will reach the peaks of the famous “Bottoniera” of the lateral craters through unpracticed and particular paths. This part on the Etna is one of the most panoramic points and the best place to take beautiful photos. After the trekking, you will visit a lava flow tunnel to discover its formation and history: Grotta Dei Ladroni, a tunnel of lava flow in which we will enter equipped with helmets and flashlights to discover its history.

Lunch:
Following the excursion, there will be a lunch break at the Chalet Clan dei Ragazzi at 1500 meters, with menu options priced at €10 or €15.
