  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

Your driver will pick you up at the cruise ship port in naples at 08:00 and take you on a drive to positano, sorrento and pompeii. The tour has been planned to provide you an enjoyable overview of the amalfi coast, stopping at the coastal village of positano, the sorrentinan peninsula, visiting sorrento, plus the ruins at pompeii.

On your itinerary is a visit to positano, the most beautiful village on the amalfi coast. Walk along the narrow winding street from the top of the hill to the beautiful beach. You’ll find fashion boutiques, shops, and cafés along the way.

Your drive continues on to sorrento, where you’ll have time for lunch (not included in the tour price) at a local restaurant.

After lunch there’s time for a walk in Sorrento. This is the most famous town on this section of the coast. Its medieval structures were built on top of the roman town and you’ll find very narrow streets lined with shops. If you’re interested in shopping, there are quality leather goods on offer, as well as ceramics, cameos, inlaid woodwork and more.

After lunch and shopping time, will drive you to pompeii. Covered in ash by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 Ad. has long intrigued archaeologists and visitors from around the world. In the distance you’ll see vount Vesuvius before stopping to visit the ruins of Pompeii, after a short commentary by the driver. At the site you can hire a licensed multilingual guide for a 2-hour private tour if you wish. There is an additional cost for this service plus the Euro 19 entrance fee to the site.

At 04.30 pm will drive you back to naples port, dropping you off at 05.00 pm in front of the ship again!
