Discover the of Portland, Maine on an e-bike tour. Visit the Eastern Promenade, East Bayside, Back Cove, and the Western Promenade. Enjoy a lobster roll lunch and see the Portland Headlight, Spring Point Ledge Light, and Bug Light.

Meet your guide at the rental shop in the heart of Portland s Old Port. After a bike fitting and a safety briefing, begin pedaling along the Eastern Promenade Trail. Stop at the top of the Eastern Promenade and Fort Allen Park, home to a fort defending Portland from 1775 through the War of 1812.

Continue along the Eastern Promenade and to East Bayside. Known to locals as Yeast Bayside because this small neighborhood is home to eleven makers of craft alcohol from beer to wine and kombucha.

Leave East Bayside and cycle along Back Cove. This is the social hub of Portland, bustling all summer with walkers, runners, and cyclists. Ride through a few neighborhoods to get across the to the west side of the peninsula.

Pedal up to the Western Promenade. After the great fire of 1866, all the wealthy residents of Portland moved to the Western Prom and built stately homes. Today, it is one of the best-preserved Victorian neighborhoods in America.

Take a spin around, enjoying the architecture, before heading to see some lighthouses. After crossing the Casco Bay Bridge, hop on the East Coast Greenway for a little bit of easy pedaling. Leave the greenway and pedal to Willard Square.

From here, it is on to the famous Portland Headlight. Stop for a great lobster roll lunch from Bite Into Maine. Spend some time exploring Fort Williams Park before heading back to Portland.

Along the way, visit both the Spring Point Ledge Light and Bug Light before returning to the starting point.
