EXPERIENCE

The Poon Hill Trek is a popular short trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal, it offers stunning sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain ranges from Poon Hill (3,210 meters). The trek passes through charming villages like Ghorepani and Ghandruk, lush rhododendron forests, and terraced farmlands, making it a perfect introduction to trekking in Nepal.

Day 1: Pokhara – Nayapul – Tikhedhunga (5151 feet, 1570 meters) (3-4 Hour)
We will pick up you from your hotel and begin the trek with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. From there, trek along the Modi Khola River, passing through small villages and beautiful rhododendron forests. Spend the night in a tea house in Tikhedhunga.

Day 2: Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani (9317 feet, 2,840 meters) (5-6 Hour)
The second day will be challenging, as you’ll climb up to Ulleri village, a steep ascent with over 3,000 steps. From there, continue through rhododendron forests and reach the village of Ghorepani, where you’ll stay in a tea house for the night.

Day 3: Ghorepani – Poon Hill (10531 feet, 3210 meters) – Nayapul – Pokhara (6-7 Hour)
Wake up early to hike up to Poon Hill, where you’ll catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. From there, return to Ghorepani for breakfast before descending to Nayapul. Then drive back to Pokhara, where the trek will end.
