This visit will immerse you in the heart of our estate, in our wine cellar which combines tradition and modernity, you will discover our work on the terroirs and our philosophy. In the program of the discovery visit, we offer: – Guided tour of the wine cellar. – Tasting of 6 AOC Chinon wines vinified by terroir (1 rosé, 1 white, and 4 reds), to better understand the influence of the latter. – Regional specialties during the tasting (possibilities for vegetarian and gluten-free, let us know in advance). – Tasting in the middle of our contemporary art gallery. – Technical sheets of the wines tasted. Domaine Pierre & Bertrand Couly operates around twenty hectares in the Chinon appellation. The family comes from a long line of winegrowers dating back to the 15th century through the maternal branch of Bertrand (Farou). Pierre & Bertrand Couly has chosen to turn to sustainable viticulture. The estate has received the HVE label (High Environmental Value) for its cultural choices, thus allowing the preservation of biodiversity. Domaine Pierre & Bertrand Couly endeavor to present to you the variety of the terroirs of the appellation through the different vintages it produces each year.
