Península Valdés: Historical and Nature Boat Tour Pto.Madryn - Puerto Madryn, Argentina
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE

It is a nautical excursion aimed at exploring the west coast of Golfo Nuevo along with its history and the fauna that lives there. In a fully equipped semi-rigid boat, we depart from the Luis Piedra Buena dock in the city of Puerto Madryn heading south towards the Punta Loma Protected Natural Area, home to a large colony of fur seals and a diverse variety of bird species. Throughout the excursion, with the help of our guides, we can interpret the Patagonian marine ecosystem and the biological cycle of its fauna. We will visit Punta Cuevas, a site of great historical value for the foundation of Puerto Madryn and El Valle, and if tides permit, we will also explore the “Folias” shipwreck and its stories. We return along the coast of the city, which provides an ideal moment for taking photos.
