Paris: The Louvre A Private Tour - an artist's insight - Ile-de-France, France

EXPERIENCE

With me you will discover the true meaning behind Leonardo’s Mona Lisa! A private two hour tour of The Louvre limited to 6 people, in English. It’s a walk through the highlights of the collection for first time visitors, or those who need a fresh insight since their last visit to Paris. We meet outside by the statue of Louis XIV near the Pyramid.

Museum Tickets are NOT INCLUDED in the price they can be obtained at the louvre.fr website (22€). All children under 18 get in free with ID).

We will visit the Sully & Denon wings (The Renaissance Louvre Palace, Rome, Greece, Venus de Milo, Botticelli, Veronese, Mona Lisa, Titian, David, Géricault, Delacroix, Michelangelo, Canova). The artworks of the Louvre guard their secrets for themselves, so you need a guide to give you the context and history of the society that inspired them to reveal something of their mystery. I’m an Irish artist & specialist decorator. I’m also now, for the past 10 years, a Paris Museum Guide.
