The Paestum MMMAC museum of minimal contemporary art finally opened its doors on the 25fth of June 2023 after existing merely as an association which organized annual exhibitions of its inventory for twenty years. Today visitors can admire the entire collection at its location in Paestum, which includes internationally renowned artits such as Basquiat, Botta, Tadini, Tresoldi, Borondo, Spriggs, Du Pasquier, Gilardi, Eielson, Nauman, Tatafiore, Rosenquist, Schifano, Alberto Burri, Emilio Vedova, Carol Rama and Gillo Dorfles. Visitors of the Tomb of the Diver at the Paestum Museum of Archaeology will especially enjoy the contemporary scetches of this famous artifact on permanent display.
